Summary of game:

Max Scherzer made his Spring Training debut this season, finishing 4 and 2/3 inning, throwing 73 pitches (49 strikes), giving up two runs on five hits and one walk; he struck out four.  Joe Nathan came in on relief and gave up two runs.  The top three in the Cardinals lines – Fowler, Garcia and Carpenter – combined for six hits, six RBIs and three runs scored.  Carlos Martinez started for the Cards, striking out three.  Trea Turner stole one, and scored the only run.
