March 23rd: Washington Nationals – 1, New York Mets – 0

Summary of game:

A rain delayed game featured two top pitching prospects — Erick Fedde of the NATS and Robert Gsvllman of the METS — both putting in impressive performances.  Fedde gave up just two hits (three strikeouts) in five shutout innings in the NATS 1-0 win over the METS.  Renton scored Turner on a 2-oudouble.  Treinen struck out 2 and got the save.  A little “fireworks” occurred when umpire Angel Hernandez ejected Mets SS (former Nat) Asdrubal Cabrera, bring Mets manager Collins out for a discussion.
