NATS:  Adam “Mighty Mouse” Eaton (CF)

Eaton is 5’8” tall and a powerhouse of personality and athleticism.  His dad nicknamed him “Spanky” as a youth (after the “Little Rascals” T.V. character thanks to Eaton’s “chubby cheeks” as an adorable kid).  “Mighty Mouse” was a college thing, with his wife finding the theme t-shirt at a Nordstrom Rack.  He was later nicknamed “Eat” by his White Sox teammates (shortened version of his name).  The MM “here he comes to save the day” theme seems to fit Eaton to a “T.”   As for athleticism, Eaton was a talented all-round athlete in high school, receiving a number of scholarship offers to play soccer in college.  He decided to go with a baseball scholarship to Miami University of Ohio instead.   Other notable Eaton items:

–He eats something called a “pizookie” from his favorite pizza shop.

–He loves cars:  dream car is the 1971 Corevette L86 Resto-Mod.

–If not in baseball, he would be a firefighter like his dad.

–Favorite player as a kid:  Kenny Lofton (Indians).

–He likes to fish.

–Says his wife, Katie, is the better athlete.
