            –New MLB single season HR record set:  On Tuesday, TIGERS OF Alex PRESLEY hit HR #5,693 and tied the MLB all-time HR record, and then ROYALS LF Alex GORDON hit #5,694 with 12 days remaining in the 2017 season. 

            –ROCKIES Charlie BLACKMON became the first to reach 200 HITS this week.

            –YANKEE Aaron JUDGE hit HRs 48 and 49 on Sunday (Sept 24) putting him one HR shy of Mark McGwire’s 1987 record for the most HRs by an MLB rookie.

            –CUBS magic number is 2 after defeating the Brewers and the Cardinals loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday.
